Emily Logan has been dancing since the age of two and has spent the last 13+ years inspiring dancers in the studio, on stage, and beyond. With a Diploma in Dance Performance from Centennial College, she brings both technical expertise and a strong creative voice to every class she teaches.
Her teaching specialties include Acrobatics, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Improvisation, Stretch & Strengthening, Conditioning, Technique, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). She’s known for her high-energy classes, dynamic choreography, and ability to push dancers to their full potential—while keeping the studio a fun, encouraging space.
Committed to growth, Emily continues to evolve her teaching and artistry through ongoing education and professional development. She holds certifications in Acrobatics (ADE), Progressing Ballet Technique, and Alixa Flexibility, along with specialized training in Strength Training & Injury Prevention, Choreography & Composition, and Preschool Dance Education. She is also a certified adjudicator and a proud member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Alliance.
Her diverse training extends into both foundational and culturally rooted dance studies, with credentials in GroundForce Technique and Relative Motion, along with certificates in programs such as Origins of Jazz (ADE), Culturally Rooted Hip Hop Education (Comix Method), Street Dance Foundation & Technique (BATD), Limon Modern Technique (ADAPT), and Lines Redefined. Emily also holds certifications in Zumba and CIRCL Mobility, giving her a broad, informed, and inclusive perspective on movement.
Outside of teaching, Emily’s performance and choreography career spans stage, screen, and studio. She has performed with artists such as Blake McGrath, Bulow, and Pavlo, and appeared in productions including the MMVAs, Disney Dance the World, Fever After Dark, Creativiva, BASH FX, and TDC. Her work includes music videos, live performances, and touring shows, showcasing her versatility as both a dancer and choreographer.
Her choreography has received numerous accolades, including Top Choreography, Most Inspiring, Most Entertaining, Best Performance, and Best of Genre across Acro, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Open. She has choreographed for music videos, productions, charity events, and Toronto Kids Fashion Week.
Known for her passion, creativity, and ability to connect with dancers of all ages, Emily Logan continues to fuel her own growth while helping young dancers unlock their power and fall in love with dance.
